The book Ivan:The remarkable true story of the shopping mall gorilla is about a gorilla that was found in central Africa. He was apart of a large family. The more the baby gorilla grew the more he played. The more he played the more he learned. he didn’t learn about humans till it was to late. Poachers with loud guns and cruel hands stole the little gorilla and another baby. A thousand miles later the jungle green with life was gone. they dressed him in human clothes and fed them human food. the shopping mall owner named the babies Ivan and Burma. One day Burma died. Ivan started to paint finger paintings. Years past and people got angry. Ivan lived in a cage for 27 years until he was sent to a zoo. I would recommend this to book to a 7 and up age group and also i would rate this book 4.5 outa 5.
