In the story “I Used To Be A Fish” written and illustrated by Tom Sullivan is a great book for 5-7 year old kids. In the story there was a fish that evolved into a fish with legs. Then he evolved into a frog/lizard. After that he evolved in to a lizard. But one day there was a big boom and things got crazy. After it calmed down the lizard started to grow larger and it evolved into a monkey. After a while the monkey changed into a Sasquatch. But then the Sasquatch lost its fur and bananas weren’t cutting it anymore for a food source. So the cave man went hunting for meat. Then the cave man started to draw his adventures on the cave walls. Then the cave man changed into a human and built a house. The human kept building and never stoped. Then he wished to fly but until then he settled for his house. But the funny thing is he used to be a fish.

Some things i like about the story are i liked that the book was about evolution and i really enjoyed looking at all of the beautiful illustrations.

In conclusion, this is a great story for 5-7 year old kids thanks to the amazing author and illustrator Tom Sullivan.
