What Do You Do With An Idea

In the story What Do You Do With An Idea made by Kobi Yamada and illustrated by Mae Besom is a story about a boy who found a egg with a crown on top and the egg kept following the boy. The egg was his idea, because of this the boy was worried about what others would think of his idea. He thought there was something magic about his idea and he felt happier when it was around. The egg wanted attention, because of this they became friends. The boy was afraid to bring it to school because kids thought it would never become anything and also it was a waste of time. The boy almost listened to them but then he realized that it was his idea and no one knows more about his idea then him. Then his idea grew and grew and so did his love for it. It built a house with an open roof so they could look at the stars. It made the boy think big. He couldn’t imagine what his life would be without the egg. And then one day his idea changed, it spread its wings and burst into the sky. The boy didn’t know how to describe it in wasn’t just part of him anymore it was about everything. Then he realized what you do with an idea, you change the world. In my opinion this book is a great book for age four and up because the moral of the story is to make sure to share your ideas because they can change the world.
